Opry City Stage: Inspired by Nashville’s historic and iconic Grand Ole Opry, which promotes country music on the radio and for live audiences around the world, this successful off-shoot Times Square extravaganza indulges country music fans with a deep dive into uplifting Southern songs. Multiple shows perform in various rooms within a gargantuan Broadway space. In the Second Floor Stage, fans-favorite The Nashville Attitude, led by crowd-pleaser Marc Vincent Sica, regularly enthralls audiences who chow down, between applause, on delish classic dishes (andouille sausage gumbo, hot chicken and waffles, catfish, shrimp and grits, smoked BBQ, cornbread pudding, monkey bread and pecan pie — a menu crafted by Eric and Bruce Bromberg, owners of the restaurant group Blue Ribbon) and drink up cocktails such as The Harmonica, Bluegrass Breakdown and Home Away from My Mountain Home. The Studio rocks concert-power ticketed acts like Texas-born Radney Foster. And its Bluebird Café (named after Nashville’s famed music-making creative think tank) holds a songwriters’ series for both emerging artists and hit-makers. Plus, real-time performances from Nashville’s Opry Stage are streamed live to large screens here. Country in the city? Y’all will be surprised.

We had been to the Opry in Nashville twice in the past and thought we would visit Opry City Stage. We were delighted with the night. The Nashville Attitude is great and Marc has a great voice and great personality. There was a real feeling of welcome in the place and that was largely due to the band’s honesty, warmth and incredible talent. If you get the chance find somewhere to hear this band!

What a fantastic show last night! I was so excited to meet all of you. I truly enjoyed singing “every word to every song” with you. That what we Jerseyans do. We LOVE to sing along. I especially loved that you all came around to talk with all of us. It was great to see and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to see you again soon.
